Fully funded PhD studentship in the Multiscale X-ray Imaging Lab at UCL Mechanical Engineering

We are advertising a fully funded PhD studentship in the Multiscale X-ray Imaging Lab at UCL Mechanical Engineering.

The project will investigate how joint microarchitecture drives mechanical dysfunction in knee osteoarthritis, using advanced X-ray imaging, biomechanics, computational modelling, and musculoskeletal biology. This is a collaborative project between UCL, the Royal Veterinary College, and ESRF – The European Synchrotron, and will involve cutting-edge HiP-CT imaging at ESRF.

We would be very keen to hear from enthusiastic candidates with interests in biomechanics, biomedical imaging, image analysis, computational modelling, or musculoskeletal research.

Further details and application information can be found here:

Interested candidates are welcome to get in touch to discuss the project further.

Many thanks,
