Bursaries: available to support members to attend national and international meetings relevant to matrix biology - Reporter Bursaries, MBE ASMB Bursaries, Couchman Travel Award, Tenure-track ECR Presenter Bursary.

Awards: recognise individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to extracellular matrix biology - Early Career Researcher Award, Fell Muir Award, Poster Prizes,  and Dick Heinegård European Young Investigator Award (external award).

Registration fees: reduced registration fees at BSMB events.

Additional benefits: attendance at satellite events (e.g. ECR workshops), opportunities for growing your CV through prizes, committee responsibilities and connections made at the meetings.

Types of Memberships

Ordinary (full) membership | The membership costs are £30.00 per annum.

Concessionary rate (students and retired members) | The membership costs are £10.00 per annum.

To join the BSMB, you are required to fill a Membership form and upload one page CV following our instructions.
